The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a variety of attachments and brushes, and a user-friendly application that lets you select the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You could, for instance request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. The only issue it has is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and the obstacles it's avoided.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot vacuum and mop. The model of this year features an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could overlook.
This Roborock model, just like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like walls, furniture, and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its course automatically and clean around them without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to take the mount off for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and that could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor battery life and component maintenance. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with cutting-edge features, high suction power and cutting-edge mowing abilities. Its clever design permits personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.

It can be controlled using the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is easy to use and understand and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, look at maps and floor plans, and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also track its progress, and alert you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many features which make it a good option for busy families.
